Christmas Parties in Abundance Both Little Village and Humboldt Park displayed Christ's generosity in abundance this December with Christmas parties full of love and giving.  At Humboldt Park, over 125 community participants were served by 50 local church members.  Each community participant was also given the opportunity to "shop" for a free gift to give a family member, with gifts donated by many generous donors nationwide.  View photos here! Through many more generous donors, Little Village blessed an unprecedented number of gang intervention participants with a family banquet, many gifts, and family food baskets.  Great thanks to all who made these possible!

BLING Grows! This fall, Humboldt Park's BLING jewelry-making program has expanded to give both girls and Spanish mamas the experience of making and selling their own jewelry.  In the last two months of 2010, BLING girls traveled to the National Youth Workers Convention (TN), Wheaton College, Trinity Christian University, and a home party to sell their creations.  The Urban Hope Project--necklaces created with street glass and wire--continue to be one of BLING's most popular products.  While limited sales are available online, the greatest selection of items is available at BLING sales.  Host your home party or church booth today! Year-End Giving
